The second matchup of the season between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals was full of excitement. The game was back and forth all game. Ultimately, it was an improbable seventy-five-yard touchdown by the Browns with a little more than a minute left in the game. That secured the victory for the Browns. With the victory over the Bengals, the Browns improved their record to (5-2).

The game started out about as bad as a game could have started for the Browns. On the second play of the Browns’ first possession of the game, Baker Mayfield threw an interception on a pass that was intended for Odell Beckham Jr. OBJ then tore his ACL trying to make a tackle after the interception. Odell Beckham Jr. will be out the rest of the season after having surgery to repair his torn ACL.

After witnessing their star player, OBJ, go down with a season-ending injury. It was not looking good for the Cleveland Browns. It felt like the beginning of a disaster for the Browns. However, Baker Mayfield may have saved the Browns’ season. Baker came out from halftime and had one of the best performances by a quarterback in the history of the Browns’ franchise. Mayfield threw for four touchdowns in the second half. With three of the four touchdowns coming in the fourth quarter. Mayfield stepped up like the true leader he is and led the Brown’s to victory.

The game came down to the Browns down three points and no timeouts with one minute left in the game. The game was in Baker Mayfield’s hand. Mayfield started out the drive completing two quick passes to get the Browns to their own thirty-eight-yard line. Baker then completed a deep pass for thirty yards to Rashard Higgins, to get the Browns into field goal position. However, Baker Mayfield and the offense were not looking to tie the game up. They were looking to win the game. After Mayfield spiked the ball to stop the clock, there was fifteen seconds left in the game. Baker Mayfield then connected with rookie Donovan Peoples-Jones for a twenty-four-yard touchdown to complete the come from behind victory for the Browns.
