Pigskin Pick ‘Em: NFL Week 11

Week ten has come and passed and we are starting to see who will really be in the playoff race the last couple weeks of the season.  Carolina Panthers got a spark from their newest signing, Cam Newton as they routed the Kyler-less Arizona Cardinals 34-10.  I trusted Kirk Cousins to win me a football game against the LA Chargers and he did it.  That will probably be the last time I do that but what a ride it was.  The Chiefs proved they still run the AFC West but can they take down a competent team in the playoffs?  I tell you nothing worse than missing a push on an O/U bet by one point.  I took over 44 in the Eagles vs Broncos game last week and it ended at a total of 43.  Cleveland couldn’t get anything going after their first drive.  Mac Jones with another outstanding performance.  The Patriots were half a point away from covering the over by themselves.

Overall Record: 23-21-1

5. Baltimore Ravens (-4.5) vs Chicago Bears:

The Bears will be the bears and until they replace the head coach.  Justin Fields needs either a better head coach or to leave and join another team.  The weather is supposed to be in the low 50s with sun, which will not be a factor.  I don’t believe the Bears will have an answer for the Ravens, especially after they got embarrassed by the Dolphins.  Look for Lamar to have a big game running and a little over 200 passing yards

My Pick: Baltimore Ravens (-4.5)

4. Houston Texans vs Tennessee Titans (-10):

The Texans are just flat out terrible.  They sit at 1-8 on the season, 1-4-2 ATS, and 0-5 on the road.  The Titans have figured out how to win even without Derek Henry.  The Titans go up against a team that ranks 32nd in points scored and ranked 29th in points allowed, a recipe for disaster.  Titans should have this game wrapped up mid third quarter.

My Pick: Tennessee Titans (-10)

3. Green Bay Packers (-1) vs Minnesota Vikings:

Last week Aaron Rodgers made his return in an ugly win against the Seahawks.  Only being a one point favorite is a weird look to me.  I understand the Packers don’t have Aaron Jones but their backup is no slouch.  The Packers offensive now gets a full week to game plan with their starting quarterback.

My Pick: Green Bay Packers (-1)

2. Dallas Cowboys vs Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5):

What a game this will be.  These high power offenses will battle it out for all four quarters.  After what the Chiefs accomplished last week I don’t see them slowing down against the Cowboys defense.  The Cowboys rolled the Falcons last week and with how bad the Chiefs defense has been this year I cannot imagine their offense sputters in this game.

My Pick: Over 56

1. San Francisco 49ers (-6) vs Jacksonville Jaguars:

After what the 49ers did against the Rams last week for them to be a six point favorite is a little strange especially with how bad the Jaguars have been this year.  This is the week that the Niners get to .500 for the first time since week two.  It will be interesting to see the plan the coaching staff has for linebacker Josh Allen.

My Pick: San Francisco 49ers (-6)
