Having NFL football, playoff baseball, and with basketball and hockey starting up this is the best time of the year. Week 4 in the NFL was packed with storylines, blowouts and upsets. Just as I predicted the Denver Broncos were a good team when facing bad teams. The Ravens went into Denver and won 23-7. I thought Browns and Vikings would be a slugfest and it was just the opposite of that with the Browns winning by a score of just 14-7. A game that was a slugfest was Chiefs vs Eagles in the Chiefs winning 42-30. The CHiefs are very beatable this year if you can go blow for blow with their offense. Could this be the Cowboys year? In the division they’re in I think they have a chance of making a run for a Super Bowl after handling the Panthers 36-28. The Patriots were 7 to 10 inches away from kicking a potential game winning field goal against the Bucs however football is a game of inches and they lost 19-17.

5. Miami Dolphins vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-10):
After an emotional game for Tom Brady and his team last week in his homecoming to New England they meet an old foe of TB12 in the Miami Dolphins. Miami is struggling to say the least with Tua on IL for a couple more weeks and they have just placed wideout Will Fuller on IL they are in deep trouble. Clear skies predicted for the 1 o’clock matchup. Tampba Bay will likely be without Gronk for another week but their star studded wideouts should do just fine vs a beat up Miami team.
My Pick: Tampa Bay (-10)
4. New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys (-7):
The Giants secured their first win of the season in an overtime thriller vs the Saints. The Cowboys moved to 3-1 on the season after taking care of the Panthers. The Cowboys look better than ever. Dak is fully back, their wide receivers are some of the best in the game, and Zeke is back to his rookie self. The Giants might be riding high after their win on Sunday but I don’t think they really have a chance in this game.
My Pick: Dallas Cowboys (-7)
3. Chicago Bears vs Las Vegas Raiders (-5.5):
The Raiders looked stagnant against the Chargers in their game Monday night and their away game was practically a home game. If the Bears can get pressure on Carr they will cause him to panic. Jacobs was in the backfield Monday night but didn’t look like himself. On a short week he might still be a little beaten up. Matt Nagy finally named Justin Fields the starting quarterback which is big for the team to finally have a good quarterback.
My Pick: Chicago Bears (+190)
2. Indianapolis Colts vs Baltimore Ravens (-6.5):
How can you not keep riding the Ravens? Until they crash and burn only having to beat the Colts by a touchdown? That is as mortal a lock as it gets. The Colts are good but right now they are full of injuries. I feel bad for their fan base because on paper they should be competing to win the division. The Ravens will likely run all over the field and the Colts won’t be able to catch up.
My Pick: Ravens (-6.5)
1. San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals (-5):
Just like every team in the NFL the 49ers are dealing with injury and like the last couple seasons dealing with injuries to their quarterback. Niners quarterback Jimmy G seems to have the injury bug and cannot shake it. Trey Lance might get the call to start depending if Jimmy can play through the injury. The Cardinals remain the last undefeated team in the NFL. They’re offense is as good as anybody in the NFL. Their defense is quick to the ball, they have one of the best young coaches in the league, and Kyler looks to be an MVP candidate.
My Pick: Arizona Cardinals (-5)
