Jason ‘Mayhem’ Miller Arrested For Domestic Violence Again

Former UFC fighter, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, found his way on the wrong side of the law yet again.

Miller was arrested at 3 a.m. early Friday morning and was booked later the same morning. He’s currently being held on a $1.385 million bail. According to the police report, police responded to a call from a woman claiming domestic violence in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. Upon arrival, the woman from the call displayed signs of physical trauma around her face and neck.

A struggle ensued between Miller and the responding officers when Miller refused to cooperate. The conflict eventually led to Miller being Tasered, handcuffed, and taken to the hospital to be checked for injuries before his subsequent booking.

Friday’s encounter with law enforcement was not a first-time occurrence for Miller. His legal run-ins have persisted through his time as an MMA fighter and have evidently not faltered. Miller’s list of charges (even more embarrassing than his UFC record) includes multiple arrests for vandalism and domestic violence, a DUI, alleged assault of police officers, protective order violations, battery, and trespassing.

In 2011, “Mayhem” Miller received assault and false imprisonment charges when he put his sister in a headlock at a party and refused to let her go.

In 2014, Miller’s Twitter followers saw him live-tweet his standoff with the SWAT team, who had arrived at his home on a domestic violence warrant.

Miller pleaded guilty to domestic violence in 2017 and received a four-year suspended sentence and three years of probation.

In July 2019, Miller pleaded guilty to felony vandalism and misdemeanor violation of a protective order and was handed a one-year sentence. At the time, he was already in jail for a separate vandalism charge from 2018.

Miller was sentenced to a 364-day jail sentence and two years of probation in May this year for felony vandalism and attempted grand theft.

Jason Miller boasted a three-fight career inside the UFC – all losses. They came by a TKO from Michael Bisping, a decision loss to C.B. Dollaway at UFC 146, and a decision loss to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 52. Miller also tacked on several more recognizable names in his loss column. Tim Kennedy, Jake Shields, Frank Trigg, Chael Sonnen, and Ronaldo Souza brought more losses to Miller’s 28-10 MMA record. After a four-year retirement from the sport, Miller’s last fight was a defeat via second-round submission at Venator FC 3 in Italy in 2016.
